I know it's been awhile

Yea yea, I know it's been awhile since I've posted anything. We've had Justin's wedding, our Glenwood trip, Owen's birthday and Juju's graduation. June has been busy thus far!
Glenwood was awesome. Owen had a great 4th birthday and got lots of great presents. We had so much fun at the Glenwood Caverns. Juliana graduated from kindergarten. She's movin' on up to 1st grade. I can't believe it! Justin and Sarah got married and had a beautiful ceremony and reception. We are so happy for them.
I will get new pictures on here soon. Promise!

April Madness

So the month of April was a tough one for the Davidson's, mostly Juliana and I. I hit a wall with weight loss. I just found myself without energy and no motivation then I got sick, started to feel better only to get sick again. Thanks to miss Juliana! She became very ill. At first we thought it was a cold. She has a bad cough and runny nose. Then the high fever started. Then she got worse instead of better. I ended up taking her to the doctors and luckily just in time. Her doctor said her lungs were borderline and she had an ear infection. This is the 3rd ear infection in 6 months and if she keeps up at this rate, she'll end up having to get tubes in her ears. I'm glad I didn't put off the doctor any longer though since her lungs were starting to decline also. She's on antibiotics again.
Now, Owen is starting to get sick and starting to complain about his ear. I'm glad to see April end and hopefully a fresh, healthly start in May.
I can only wish!

Stuck....

Last week I was exhausted and didn't have the motivation to do the workouts I know I needed to lose weight. I ended up gaining half a pound for the week. So far this week, I caught a cold, have a cough and have only worked out twice. Both of which times I coughed my head off during the workout. I have been able to stay at the same weight and not gain anything. I am hoping this will end soon so I can get back on my weight loss journey.
I went shopping with my wonderful hubby this past weekend and I so loved buying some new clothes 3 sizes smaller! I really want to wear a bikini when we go to Glenwood in June too. I am getting there, but I have a ways to go yet.
Time to get over this stupid cough and start a new workout routine to mix it up and get sweating again!

Owen

So, a little more than a week ago Owen started taking an antibiotic for an ear infection. He's taken the same one before so I didn't think anything about it. However, this morning he woke up saying his leg itched so bad and there were bumps. I looked at them and at first glance thought they were bug bites. Then I started checking him over and saw more bumps that he was scratching. It turns out he has had a reaction to the antibiotic. Not knowing this, I gave him his morning dose of medicine and it made things worse. He is covered in hives and now pink from calomine lotion and his right foot is swollen. We have given him Benedryl and keep rubbing lotion on him. I am praying he wakes up all better. It's been a tough month for him. From having a bad cold to starting to get better, to going back to being sick and then getting an ear infection and now this. I just wish he can get better and stay better. Juliana is on the same antibiotic for a major cough and started getting the ear infection but luckily she's taken it several times. So, let's hope she's on the road to recovery also.
